I need to take it in to have its first service, so I will mention it to see what they say about it. Of course it's your choice whether to put up with, and pay, for a fault with the car you love. Two gearboxes are available with the 1.5-litre EVO engine, the new seven-speed DSG or the six-speed manual tested here. If you have a 1.5 150 HP that is not normal, the Ecomotion 130 HP does that and it is beyond insane they send cars like that out into traffic. It is suitable for a daily use car.It can be used in isolation with standard components.

Actually the dealer seems to have an increasing number of "35" engine models with low mileage listed so maybe they are stocking up on them awaiting a future fix. In a statement from Volkswagen in Germany, the company said:Volkswagen is aware of reports from customers complaining that some vehicles featuring the 1.5-litre TSI Evo engine with manual gearbox can be slightly hesitant in the cold-running phase. My April 18 KAROQ Manual 'hunted' at 'take-off' and I presumed it was because of my driving style - having had DSGs in my previous 3 cars. Spesh use the Evo name for short stem, wide bars, longer travel fork than frame, for aggressive bikes. The symptoms that you have described are the same as i am experiencing: - Engine stalls unless i give it a huge amount of revs. I have reported it to our dealer and they confirmed it is a known issue with a software fix due in Q2 of this year. on 3 April 2019.

A survey has been compiled by members of the Volkswagen T-Roc Forums and is being conducted in response to the 1st gear 'kangaroo' problem reported by T-Roc owners.

Yes I have noticed that pre updates and post update but the revs don't go much above 1000rpm when I let the clutch out, don't know for sure but it could be to stop stalling. Remember sensors are not unique to VW, they are generic devices, so can affect any model? Hi there have been two software updates a third talked about but still no fix on some cars. The problem doesn't appear when reversing. I've only had confirmation of the issue being known from my dealership, Bath Audi.
